The IRB 7600 is the heaviest line of heavy duty industrial robots of ABB, with a payload of 500 kg for 2550mm of extension. It is ideal for weighty applications, such as handling of heavy fixtures, turning car bodies, lifting engines, handling heavy parts in foundries or forges, loading and unloading machine cells, and handling large and heavy pallet layers. It comes with the IRC5 M2004 controller, which features a FlexPendant with a clean, color touch screen-based design and 3D joystick for intuitive interaction. It also supports the state-of-the-art field busses for I/O and is a well-behaved node in any plant network. Motion control is also supported by the IRC5 with sensor interfaces, remote disk access and socket messaging.
